After extensive research, including slumber parties with our Bay Head neighbors' cockapoo, Cashew, we have determined that Maddie's sister, London, is not allergic to cockapoos. Rex and I have told the girls that, if all goes right with business and scheduling, our family will pick up an 8-week-old cockapoo puppy at the end of June. Maddie has been hard at work, compiling a journal of everything she needs to know about taking care of a dog -- feeding, grooming, training, etc. We think we'll be ready!

My older daughter, London, has her own blog called The Daily Soup, and her younger sister, Maddie, woke up yesterday and decided she wanted to be a blogger, too.
